After impressing in various roles, Aparshakti Khurana deservingly wins Promising Actor (Male) award at the third edition of OTTplay Award 2025, which was held in Mumbai on March 22. The actor has impressed us in every other role but none like this series in particular.

Aparshakti’s role in Berlin has earned him acclaim and audience's love for his power-packed performance. He is seen as a deaf-and-mute man who is arrested and is about to be executed. Right before his execution, a translator is brought in and a lot kept under the wraps unfolds. The series explores who is guilty and who is innocent.

Aparshakti, who was also the host of OTTplay Awards along with Kubra Sait, was presented the award by Nimrit Kaur. While accepting his award, the actor said, "Thank you my family for my biggest family. Thank you so much entire team of OTTplay Awards. You spread love to every language. Let's make better film together.”

Back at OTTplay Awards 2025, we witnessed the who’s who of Indian OTT space turn up, celebrating the theme - “One Nation, One Award”. Jyotika, Kajol, Imtiaz Ali, Jaideep Ahlawat, and were also honoured at the award function, which had celebs from film industries including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
