Renowned faces of the Hindi and regional cinema graced the enticing evening of the OTTplay Awards 2025 in Mumbai, which also brought together the incredible talents from the North and South's showbiz industry. The star-studded event was co-hosted by Kubbra Sait and Aparshakti Khurana. Actress Aditi Rao Hydari bagged the Best Actor (Female) Popular for her stunning performance in Heeramandi.

OTTplay Awards 2025 held in Mumbai honoured various artists and their talents for their fine contribution to the OTT space. Among the formidable stars was the beautiful Aditi Rao Hydari. She took home the trophy for her praiseworthy craft in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Heeramandi.
Aditi spellbounded everyone as she stepped on the stage, all dolled up in a royal purple saree. Host Aparshakti requested her to accept the award in a unique 'Tapori style' that contrasted her elegant personality. After a few seconds of hesitation, Aditi followed Khurana. "Apun ko ekdum raapchik maza arela tha Heeramandi mein." She was accompanied on the stage by her Heeramandi costar Shekhar Suman, who called her as 'his favourite' as one of the presenters alongside RVR Chowdhary (Chairman of RVR Group).
She later delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude to HT City, OTTplay and her directors. Aditi concluded her acceptance speech with her melodious voice as she sang "Lag Ja Gale..."

Aditi won the accolade for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's webseries Heeramandi. She played the role of Bibbojaan and soon became one of the favourite characters because of her elegance, charm and charismatic walk.
OTTplay Awards 2025 also saw the who’s who of Indian OTT space turn up, celebrating the theme - “One Nation, One Award”. Jyothika, Manoj Bajpayee, Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan, Hina Kha, Kajol and many others were also honoured at the award function, which had celebs from film industries including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada as they graced the purple carpet.
