If there's one actor who has stolen the show in Made in Heaven Season 2, it's none other than Mona Singh. As Bulbul Jauhari, the actor made a delightful debut in the second season of the Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti-created Prime Video series. Thus, Mona taking home the trophy for Best Supporting Actor Female—Series at the OTTplay Awards 2023 is definitely among the highlights of the awards event.
The actor portrays the new auditor for the Made in Heaven business run by Arjun Mathur and Sobhita Dhulipala. She appears to be the wife of Vijay Raaz's character Jauhari, who has a beautiful character arc as a survivor of domestic abuse and is one of the strongest characters the show has ever featured. She is also seen as a mother to a teenage boy who teaches her son that respecting others, especially women, is the basic rule of life, and there's no two ways about it.
After winning the award, Mona Singh said,"I am just so happy to be witnessing these beautiful times. I am loving this whole OTT space. Thank you to Zoya, Neeraj, Alankrita, Nitya for making Bulbul Jauhari the character that it turned out to be. Thank you for the incredible cast and crew of Made in Heaven. Thank you to the viewers for such an overwhelming response. I so enjoyed playing Bulbul Jauhari. Thank you so much."
