Kartik Aaryan arrived in style at the recently held OTTplay Awards 2023. The Bollywood actor won the Best Actor Male Film (Popular Choice) award for his OTT film Freddy, which was released on Disney+ Hotstar. The actor looked suave in a green suit as he graced the purple carpet at the award ceremony. When Kartik went on the stage to receive his award, the actor expressed his wish to have some traits of popular Bollywood actresses in his ideal girl.

Hosts Neha Dhupia and Aparshakti Khurana asked Kartik Aaryan to name Bollywood actresses whose qualities he would want in his ideal girl.
To this, the Freddy actor said he wants Kareena Kapoor Khan's looks, Raveena Tandon's humour, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas' wealth and talent in his ideal girl. Kartik mentioned that he currently doesn't have a girlfriend.

Kartik Aaryan on winning Best Actor Male Film (Popular Choice) award
Kartik won the Best Actor Male Film (Popular Choice) award for Freddy at the OTTplay Awards 2023. While accepting the award, he said, "Freddy was a very important film for me. I would first like to thank my director, Shashanka Ghosh sir. He worked with me very patiently on this film. JU kept on believing in this first. Third is Ektaa Kapoor, who supported and produced the film. Freddy is a special film. It was the first time I played a grey character in the film. I worked in comic roles and doing romantic films for the longest time."
The actor went on to add, "Freddy was one film where I could play a different character. I am extremely thankful that the script came to me. Also, thanks to Alaya F for being a supportive co-star. She is also getting a lot of awards for her performance in the film. I'm really happy for her and I'd like to thank Hardy, the film's lead turtle."
What's next for Kartik Aaryan?
On the work front, Kartik has multiple films lined up. He is currently busy with the shoot of Kabir Khan's Chandu Champion. The actor plays the titular role in the film. Apart from that, Kartik will be seen in Anurag Basu's Aashiqui 3 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
