With the boom in the OTT space, the content-viewing experience has been democratised, an idea that has been instrumental to OTTplay — India’s first AI-based OTT recommendation and content-discovery platform. The inaugural OTTplay Awards and Conclave, a marquee event from the house of Hindustan Times, aims to honour the best talent, movies and web series across 10 Indian languages and a plethora of OTT platforms that premiered on streaming services the past year. This will be followed by the OTTplay Awards — India's First Pan-India OTT Award Show. Through its various categories across genres including Best Movie, Best Webseries, Best Actor (Male and Female), and Best Director, OTTplay Awards will celebrate and felicitate unparalleled content and sterling performances across languages that won audiences across India. Popular and acclaimed movies and web series in languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali will compete against each other for the top honours at the OTTplay Awards and Conclave.
