OTT releases: From Citadel to Ved - top movies and shows to binge watch this weekend

Numerous intriguing films and web series will be released on OTT platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney + Hotstar, and others throughout the final weekend of April. While the historical masterpiece Ponniyin Selvam 2 (PS2) will grace movie theatres, the internet world will provide web series like Priyanka Chopra's spy thriller Citadel and the Kdrama The Good Bad Mother, among others. Speaking of movies, Ved is also coming this weekend on OTT after making a big sensation at the box office. Additionally, brand-new films like U-Turn is making their way online.

Citadel:

OTT Platform: Amazon Prime Video

Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra feature in the spy series Citadel. The eagerly anticipated show's first two episodes will air on April 28. Thereafter, new episodes will air once a week on Fridays until May 26. PeeCee portrays Nadia Singh in Citadel while Richard Madden plays the character of Mason Kane.

Ved:

OTT Platform: Disney Plus Hotstar

Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza star in the heartbreaking love drama Ved in Marathi. Genelia Deshmukh is the producer, and this is Riteish's directorial debut. Jiya Shankar and Ashok Saraf are also featured in the movie. Riteish and Genelia's on-screen chemistry is flawless, and Salman Khan also makes a surprise appearance in the movie. The Bollywood superstar filmed a song for Ved. 

U-Turn:

OTT Platform: Zee5

In the supernatural thriller film U-Turn, Alaya F plays Radhika, who has been tasked with looking into accidents that are occurring at the U-turn on a certain flyover. The movie is a remake of the same-titled 2016 Kannada film, which stars Shraddha Srinath in the lead role.

The Good Bad Mother:

OTT Platform: Netflix

One of the highly anticipated South Korean shows is The Good Bad Mother. A catastrophic tragedy gives an ambitious prosecutor the mentality of a child, forcing him and his mother to set out on a mission to mend their relationship, according to the synopsis. Ahn Eun-jin, Ra Mi-ran, and Lee Do-hyun are the actors.

Midnight in the Switchgrass:

OTT Platform: Lionsgate Play

A Florida police officer who is investigating a string of unsolved deaths that seem connected and two FBI agents meet paths. They get themselves into serious trouble when a sting operation goes tragically wrong. Midnight in Switchgrass, a criminal thriller starring Megan Fox, Bruce Willis, and Lukas Haas, is a gripping movie when you're looking for something with a little gore and a lot of suspense.
