Childhood friends Nora (Greta Lee) and Hae Sung (Teo Yoo), who share a special bond, are forcibly split apart after Nora's family leaves South Korea. Many years later, they cross paths once more and spend a week discussing fate, love, and the crucial decisions that affect a lifetime. The semi-autobiographical narrative is inspired by the author Celine Song's own experiences as well as actual events.
