The Anshuman Jha and Ridhi Dogra film has been in the news of late for all the right reasons. while on one hand, the film became the only action film to be selected at the prestigious 20th Stuttgart Film Festival, Germany, on the other hand, the film is now all set for its OTT premiere on Zee5 on June 30, 2023. The film has been directed by Victor Mukherjee. The film stars Anshuman Jha and Riddhi Dogra in the lead roles. Actors including Paresh Pahuja, Milind Soman, Eksha Kerung, Bijou Thaangjam, Kharaj Mukherjee, and Denzil Smith will be seen in important roles in the film.

When asked about if she has come across any real-life incident of animal cruelty and how did she deal with it, Ridhi replied, “Not real life. Can’t happen in front of me. I would go pretty crazy if that happened. No one has dared to do it”. And when she was asked about whether she thought if OTT was giving actors a larger playground to experiment with their craft and also how has OTT changed things for her as an actor, she said, “Yes absolutely. OTT is a blessing for actors like me. I have always wanted to do more than what comes my way. And with OTT I am able to constantly push myself. I was anyway picky and choosy about my work. So, I don’t work for work. OTT gives me the wonderful opportunity to actually wait and do meaningful work that does justice to the value I add”.

Only recently, we had reported about the film ‘Lakadbaggha- 1’ becoming the only action film to be selected at the prestigious 20th Stuttgart Film Festival, Germany. The film ‘Lakadbaggha- 1’ also happens to be the world' s first animal lover vigilante universe. Besides ‘Lakadbaggha- 1’, the said festival will also be showcasing the Oscar Nominated Indian documentary ‘All That Breathes’ by Shaunak Sen amongst the other films which will be screened.

A seemingly excited Anshuman Jha expressed his excitement about the award in a media statement by saying, "We (Ridhi and him) are excited and grateful that our love letter to dogs is breaking the language barrier & will reach an audience in Germany. Animal trafficking & cruelty is a grave environmental issue & I am happy that the festival is giving a voice to the voiceless. This is a shot in the arm as we prep for a bigger second part. We are thankful to the selection committee at Stuttgart & stoked to be there for our European Premiere." Both, Anshuman Jha and Ridhi Dogra are scheduled to travel to Germany to attend the prestigious festival.
