Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu OTT release date: When and where to watch Sohel, Mirnalini Ravi’s film

Writer, director, composer SV Krishna Reddy, who made a name for himself in the 90s with hits like Rajendrudu Gajendrudu, Mayalodu, Yamaleela and Ghatothkachudu, recently made his comeback with a romantic entertainer titled Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu. The film, produced by Koneru Kalpana and presented by Atchi Reddy under Ammu Creations and Kalpana Chitra, released in theatres earlier this year.

Sohel, Mirnalini Ravi played lead roles in the film that also starred Rajendra Prasad, Meena, Sunil in crucial roles. Varun Sandesh, Rashmi, Ali, Ajay Ghosh, Sapthagiri, Praveen, Prudhvi, Raja Raveendar, Krishna Bhagawan, Viva Harsha, Hema, Sana, Surekhavani, Pandu and Rocket Raghava form the supporting cast of the entertainer. SV Krishna Reddy also wrote the story, screenplay, dialogues and scored the music.

While the film hit screens on March 3 worldwide, it’s now out on OTT. Leading streaming platform Amazon Prime Video acquired the post-theatrical digital rights for the same and began premiering the film the previous weekend. C Ram Prasad cranked the camera for the project which was edited by Prawin Pudi. Siva Sriramula is the art director while Suchitra, Prem Rakshith, Ganesh and Anee are choreographers. Venkat and Real Satheesh are the action directors.

The story revolves around Vijay (Sohel), an unsuccessful film director hailing from a family that makes Kondapalli toys for a living. While helping his parents sell the toys at a plush hotel, he meets Hasini (Mirnalini Ravi), the daughter of a rich businessman Organic Venkataramana (Rajendra Prasad). He’s furious when he comes to know of his daughter’s relationship with Vijay. What’s in store for the couple?

“Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu is a disappointing comeback film from SV Krishna Reddy, ailed by a weak plot and a snoozefest of a screenplay. The treatment is outdated and the narrative loses track amidst a bevvy of subplots. The lead actors Sohel, Mirnalini Ravi, Meena and Rajendra Prasad are passable though they can’t salvage the film,” OTTplay’s critic wrote at the time of release.
