PremiumOppenheimer explodes onto JioCinema with Hindi and Marathi dub, but not in any South Indian languages
Oppenheimer is shaking up OTT streaming by becoming available in Hindi and Marathi on JioCinema.

Oppenheimer is finally out on OTT for subscribers after a long wait. The Christopher Nolan-directed movie, which won an Oscar, is available on JioCinema in both English and Hindi audio. However, an interesting fact is that the dub is not in any of the South Indian languages but in Marathi, which is not something you usually witness on OTT. Well, we have to wait and watch if the dubbed versions, especially in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, will be available or not.
Oppenheimer - Star-studded cast and key performances
Oppenheimer stars Cillian Murphy in the titular role and Lewis Strauss, played by Robert Downey Jr., as a member of the United States Atomic Energy Commission. Among the ensemble supporting cast members are Kenneth Branagh, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Casey Affleck, and Rami Malek.
The film is about American theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer's life, who was instrumental in the creation of the first nuclear bombs during WWII. Adapted from Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin's 2005 biography American Prometheus, the film follows Oppenheimer as he moves through his academic career, oversees the Los Alamos Laboratory, and eventually falls from grace after his controversial security hearing in 1954.
Accolades and critical acclaim
The third-highest-grossing film of 2023, the highest-grossing film about World War II, the highest-grossing biographical picture, and the second-highest-grossing R-rated film have been Oppenheimer, which earned over $964 million worldwide.
The film received numerous awards, including seven Oscars for Murphy (Best Actor), Downey (Best Supporting Actor), Murphy, and Nolan (Best Director). The American Film Institute and the National Board of Review selected Oppenheimer as one of the top 10 films of 2023, and it won five Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture—Drama, and seven BAFTAs, including Best Film.
Oppenheimer on JioCinema is nearly two hours and 55 minutes long, which is slightly shorter than the theatrical version, which was around 180 minutes.
