Operation Valentine is all set to hit the screens on March 1, 2024, and Varun Tej is not leaving any stone unturned and is taking the film deep into the audience with back-to-back promotional events across the Telugu states.
The pre-release event of the film will be held in Hyderabad today and none other than megastar Chiranjeevi will grace the event as the chief guest. The megastar's presence will give the film a solid buzz before the release.
On the other hand, Operation Valentine has the same backdrop as Hrithik Roshan's Fighter and is based on the Pulwama attack. When asked about the same, Varun Tej reveals in an interview that they came to know about this aspect when they were done with more than half the shoot of Operation Valentine.
"For Telugu audience, this backdrop or watching an Air Force drama will be a first-of-its-kind experience and I am confident that they will enjoy this film which has some realistic and stylish action," says Varun Tej. Shakti Pratap Singh directs this film which has Manushi Chhillar as the female lead.
The trailer has caught the imagination of one and all and the makers have made sure that Varun Tej visit every nook and corner of Telugu states to make the audience understand the backdrop and basic story of this film. This is a very good move from the makers as not many are aware of the Air Force dramas in Telugu cinema and it might be difficult to make them absorb a few scenes.
Varun Tej is going through a series of flops and needs to score a hit at any cost. So, he has pinned a lot of hopes on this project. He looks top-notch as an Air Force Pilot and has given a solid performance, as per the team members. Now, we need to see whether this film gives him the much-needed respite or not.
Apart from Operation Valentine, Varun will also work with Palasa director Karuna Kumar for a gambling drama titled Matka. The film has also gone on floors and Varun Tej will be seen as a gambler who runs a racket in the late 70s. Watch this space for more updates on Operation Valentine.
