One year of Maaveeran: Where to stream Sivakarthikeyan’s superhero film with a twist

Maaveeran, the 2023 Tamil film starring Sivakarthikeyan, has completed one year since its release. A superhero film, written and directed by filmmaker Madonne Ashwin, was received to positive response and reviews, and was also one of the declared hits of 2023. One year of Maaveeran

Maaveeran is 2023 Tamil film headlined by Sivakarthikeyan. In the film, Sivakarthikeyan plays a cartoonist who begins to hear a voice that guides him on the path of truth. Vijay Sethupathi has lent his voice for the film. If this sounds like a film you would want to rewatch, or even visit it for the first time, Maaveeran is streaming on Prime Video. Maaveeran is written and directed by Madonne Ashwin who earlier made Mandela. Maaveeran also stars actors Aditi Shankar, Saritha, Mysskin, Monisha Blessy, Yogi Babu and Sunil among others. Maaveeran was met with positive reception and reviews upon its release. The music was composed by Bharath Sankar, with cinematography and editing handled by Vidhu Ayyanna and Philomin Raj respectively.

Sivakarthikeyan’s next is Amaran

Sivakarthikeyan’s next release will be Amaran, a biopic of Mukund Varadarajan, who was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his operation with the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion.

Directed by filmmaker Rajkumar Periasamy, who previously helmed Rangoon, Amaran is produced by multi-faceted artist and politician Kamal Haasan under the home banner of Raaj Kamal Films International. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead in the film. A release date is yet to be announced.

Sivakarthikeyan is also currently shooting for a film with director AR Murugadoss. The film is under production, with Rukmini Vasanth playing the female lead. The title of the project is yet to be announced. Actors Vikranth and Vidyut Jammwal are also part of the cast.
