It took six long years but the drought for the third season of One Punch Man has finally come to an end. The 'world's most powerful,' who can destroy enemies with just one punch, has just found his equally competitive challenger, the toughest yet and he is out pursuing the challenge. Saitama, bored with how powerful he is against every enemy, has found another reason to live, as he is ready to fight Garou, that too in his cosmic form.
Although the release date for One Punch Man is not yet confirmed, the makers have shared a teaser in which they have updated when the anime's third season will be out. Six years since season 2, One Punch Man season 3 will finally release in October this year. And it is going to be one hell of a ride!

While nothing affects Saitama, he is pissed this time. It is because Garou has underestimated him. "When I find Garou, I will punch him," Saitama promises.
But, that is not the whole story. Garou, an everyday villain, thinks he has to prove himself as the 'absolute evil.' Interestingly, Saitama notes that Garou is far frkm that because he once avoided a helicopter crash. Saitama being himself, simply walks away from the conversation. Now irked, Garou is out to prove his evil side, owing to which he blows up Saitama's apartment. Unimpressed, Saitama grumbles that Garou needs to do better and blow up the planet to be the 'absolute evil.' In their fight (one where Saitama farts his way to Garou), the two remember one another from their past. This commences the deadly fight between Saitama and Cosmic Garou. As their fight progresses, we see Garou's biggest weakness, which leads to his ultimate and final defeat. All we can say is, this is going to be a fight that made the six-year drought worth it. Even God himself got involved, thus proving the level at which the attacks were. While many deaths took place during the fight, they were all reversed and one death later, things went back to normal, well, almost.
Far from it. One Punch Man is a manga that is still running successfully in Japanese bookstores. More volumes are being released but they are yet to be put together to continue the anime (if we go beyond season 3). So, while it might be till season 3 for now, do not be surprised if One Punch Man comes out with more seasons in the future. For now, though, the focus is on One Punch Man season 3 and one of the biggest anime fights this year - Saitama vs Cosmic Garou. Stay tuned for this one!
