The makers of Once Upon A Time In Kochi have confirmed the theatrical release date of the film. The family entertainer, which is directed by Nadirshah, is slated to hit the big screen on February 23.
Mubin M Rafi, son of director, actor, and screenplay writer Rafi, is making his acting debut with this film. The first poster of the film was unveiled by its makers in December last year. The movie's teaser and trailer, which have not yet been made public, are anticipated to be released this week.
Arjun Ashokan and Shine Tom Chacko are also featured in pivotal roles in this movie. Devika Sanjay, who has acted in Makal and Njan Prakashan, is the film's female lead.
Johny Antony, Baiju Santhosh, Jaffar Idukki, Shivajith, Malavika Menon, Neha Saxena, Hridayam-fame Aswath Lal, Saju Navodaya, Kalabhavan Haneef, Sminu Sijo, Riyaz Khan, and Sudheer Karamana are among the supporting cast of the film.
The two movie songs that the makers released, Thooval Nilaa and Kande Njanaakaashathoru, were well-liked by the audience.
In 2015, Nadirshah, an actor and mimic artist, directed his first film, Amar Akbar Anthony, which featured Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jayasurya, and Indrajith Sukumaran in lead roles. His most recent movie, Jayasurya's Eesho, was released on SonyLiv in 2022.

Rafi, an acclaimed director best known for films such as Ring Master and Voice of Sathyanathan, has penned the screenplay for Once Upon A Time In Kochi. This is the first time that Nadirshah and Rafi are collaborating on a project. Kalandoor has bankrolled the film under the banner of Kalandoor Entertainments.
Hesham Abdul Wahab and Nadirshah have composed the soundtracks for Once Upon a Time in Kochi. B K Harinarayanan, Suhail M Koya, Shaheera Nazeer, and Kunwar Juneja (Hindi) have penned the lyrics for the songs. Shaji Kumar is the cinematographer, and Shameer Muhammad helmed the editing work. The project designer is Cylex Abraham.
