After releasing Lampan trailer, the makers aka SonyLIV have unveiled a new song from the upcoming show. They have released the song Jagadodharana, which is a part of the show. The track is about the bonding between a mother and her son. The song takes reference to Lord Krishna and his mother Yashoda who loved Krishna dearly. Lord Krishna was famous for being a naughty kid but he was always Yashoda’s laadla (dear son). That is exactly the kind of bond Lampan and his mother share.
How did Lampan end up with his grandparents?
In the promo, his mother is seen pampering Lampan by calling him ‘Maajha Lampu baalaka (My child, Lampu).’ We get to witness the story of how Lampan ended up living with his grandparents. She sweetly explains that Lampan has to live with them so they don’t feel lonely in life. “Nakki aavdhel tula tikde (You will love it there for sure),” she is heard saying, as Lampan looks at her confused and teary-eyed.
Unveiling of Jagadodharana
The promo is actually for a song, Jagadodharana. The track is about how Yashoda loved her son (Lord Krishna). It goes on to show Lampan and his mother’s bond with their whole family. Lampan, who is full of energy in his house, has a mother, father and two younger sisters.

Lampan is helmed by National Award-winning Me Vasantrao director Nipun Dharmadhikari. The series is his debut on OTT.
Lampan is a character from the popular poet, Prakash Narayan Sant. Lampan appeared in Zumbar, Panka and Vanvas, and instantly connected with the readers because of the child’s innocence.
Similar is the case with the web series. The innocence of the child is intact, as he feels things deeply and makes decisions promptly. Geetanjali Kulkarni plays the role of his grandmother on the show.
