With the chants of Har Har Mahadev, the trailer of the highly anticipated Akshay Kumar starrer movie, OMG 2, dropped today. The upcoming theatrical features superstar Akshay Kumar in and as an avatar of Lord Shiva, who is on a mission to protect the life of his ‘bhakt’ (or ardent devotee). The role of the devotee, named Kanti, is played by renowned Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi.
By looking at the trailer today, it appears that the makers of the movie throw light on multiple problems existing in society, right from lack of mental health awareness to lack of sex education in the country.
In the video glimpses, it appears that actor Kanti's son, Vivek, is accused of promoting vulgar acts following which he ends up being thrown out of his school. While Pankaj works on ensuring justice is served to his child, Akshay Kumar, too, makes sure that it does not impact the morale of an ideal society.
Soon after the trailer dropped on Viacom18’s official YouTube handle, one YouTube user commented, “When the rest of the world was taking baby steps, our Sanatan culture was running miles ahead of us. This line literally touched my heart. I'll watch this for sure,” wrote a YouTube user.
Another YouTube user commented, “Ohh man... this is something incredible. The background musi... the performances... the dialogues......gave me goosebumps and made me excited at the same time... Har Har Mahadev.”

On Twitter, a similar sentiment is emoted. One Twitter user commented, “One word review: Excellent trailer paaji! Can't wait for this one! Har Har Mahadev! #OMG2Trailer”

Firstly, for those who don’t know, this is an adult movie and can be viewed by people above 18 years of age only. OMG 2 is set to release on August 11. The film also stars Govind Namdev and Arun Govil in supporting roles.
