OMG 2 revolves around the intriguing subject of the Indian education system, presenting a satirical take on its flaws and challenges. Akshay Kumar, known for his versatility and comic timing, takes on the role of Lord Shiva, bringing his unique charm and wit to the character. Pankaj Tripathi shines as Kanti Sharan Mudgal, while Arun Govil, renowned for portraying Lord Rama in the classic television series Ramayan, joins the cast, adding depth and familiarity to the narrative. Yami Gautam and Govind Namdev complete the ensemble.

The movie had its fair share of speculation and rumours before being confirmed in June 2021. Initially, there were reports of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal reuniting as leads in the first installment, but the latter dismissed these claims. However, the sequel took shape with a fresh storyline featuring the star, who brought his star power and comic prowess to the project. Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam were then roped in as new additions to the cast, followed by Arun Govil's announcement as Lord Rama in November 2021.

To build anticipation, the first-look poster featuring Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva was unveiled in October 2021, adding to the excitement surrounding the film.

With its talented cast, engaging storyline, and satirical commentary on the Indian education system, OMG 2 promises to be a delightful cinematic treat for audiences. As fans eagerly await its release on August 11, 2023, the film is poised to deliver laughter, entertainment, and a much-needed reflection on societal issues through the lens of comedy.
