Oka Chinna Family Story: When and where to watch the Telugu OTT show starring Sangeeth Shobhan, Simran Sharma

Niharika Konidela, besides making a mark as an actress, has carved her niche as an entrepreneur too with her production house Pink Elephant Pictures, her brainchild that has been backing out-of-the-box web content in the last few years. Niharika is now bankrolling another show, Oka Chinna Family Story, a dramedy featuring Sangeeth Shobhan, Simran Sharma, Naresh, Tulasi, Getup Srinu, Rajeev Kanakala and others in key roles. The web series directed and co-created by Mahesh Uppala is all set to premiere on ZEE5 on November 19.

The show, set in the backdrop of Warangal, revolves around a good-for-nothing, wayward youngster Mahesh (Sangeeth) and how his life takes a turn for the worse when his father Haridas (Naresh) passes away suddenly, leaving behind a debt of Rs 25 lakhs. Mahesh is surrounded by money-lenders all over, who trouble him to repay the debt. The family struggles for livelihood and begins to wonder the reason behind the huge debt, with the former's grandma even suspecting an affair with another woman. Tulasi and Simran Sharma play the on-screen mother and love interest to Mahesh in the show.

Oka Chinna Family Story is also co-created by Manasa Sharma, who had collaborated with the director for another web show titled Madhouse (also produced by Niharika's Pink Elephant Pictures). PK Dandi has scored the music, while Shreemani has penned the lyrics for the album. The show is cinematographed by Raju Edurolu and edited by Prawin Pudi. Chinna is the art director of the show for which Ramesh M is the executive producer. The pre-release event of the show was held in Hyderabad during the last weekend. Nagarjuna Akkineni had launched the trailer.
