The action drama is nearing completion, with only the last schedule remaining, which is pending due to Pawan Kalyan's political commitments. Sujeeth, of Saaho fame, is directing this big-budget project, which also marks Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi's Telugu debut as the main antagonist. 

Latest update on Akira Nandan's cameo in OG

A few weeks ago, a video from the film's sets went viral, sparking rumors that Pawan Kalyan's son, Akira Nandan, would be making his acting debut in OG. Reports suggested that Akira would portray the younger version of Pawan Kalyan in the film. The individual in the video bore a resemblance to Akira, causing a frenzy among fans on social media.

However, we now have exclusive information regarding Akira’s involvement. A source close to the production team confirmed that the boy in the video is not Akira but another actor. The source further revealed that Akira is currently in the U.S. taking acting lessons, and has no immediate plans to enter films. He is expected to make his debut in a few years.

This news may disappoint fans who were eagerly hoping to see Akira debut alongside his father in OG. For now, they will have to wait a little longer to see Pawan Kalyan's son on the big screen.

OG is set in Mumbai and revolves around a mafia don, played by Pawan Kalyan. Priyanka Arul Mohan stars as the female lead, while Thaman is composing the music. Sujeeth is handling both the story and screenplay for this project. Produced by DVV Danayya, known for his work on RRR, the film is being made on a massive budget of ₹300 crore.
