Kunchacko Boban has an exciting line-up of projects in his kitty, for 2025. The versatile actor is set to reunite with Nayattu director Martin Prakkat for an upcoming cop drama film, which has been titled Officer On Duty. The movie, directed by Jithu Ashraf, is produced by the photographer-turned-filmmaker. Kunchacko Boban plays the titular character, a police officer in Officer On Duty, which is now gearing up for a February 2025 release.

Recently, leading man Kunchacko Boban took to his official social media handles and dropped a new poster of Officer On Duty, featuring himself. “Truth can never be buried. OFFICER… On Duty!! Coming to the big screens on February 2025,” reads the popular actor’s social media post. “Get set to dig up the truth on the big screen, in February 2025,” wrote popular actress Priya Mani, who plays the female lead in the Jithu Ashraf directorial, as she shared the new poster on her social media handles.

For the uninitiated, the upcoming cop drama film produced by filmmaker Martin Prakkat marks the first onscreen collaboration of Kunchacko Boban and Priya Mani. The Jithu Ashraf directorial also features senior actor Jagadish and Visak Nair, in the key roles. Ramzan Muhammed, Anunaya Anoop, Amit Eappen, Leya Mammen, Vishnu G Varrier, Henna Bella, Eithal Evana Sherin, and others are set to play the supporting roles in Officer On Duty.
The Kunchacko Boban starrer is scripted by Shahi Kabir. Roby Varghese Raj is the director of photography. Jakes Bejoy composes the songs and the original score. Chaman Chakko handles the editing. The much-awaited project is jointly produced by filmmaker Martin Prakkat, Siby Chavara, and Renjith Nair, under the banners Martin Prakkat Films and Green Room. The much-awaited Officer On Duty official teaser is expected to get its release by the last week of December 2024, or the first week of January 2025.
