Thrillers are the toast of the season and are catching the attention of audiences like no other genre. We’ll have another chilling crime thriller coming our way this weekend in the form of Odela Railway Station. The film stars Hebah Patel, Pujita Ponnada, Vasishta N Simha and Sai Ronak in key roles and is bankrolled by noted producer KK Radhamohan. Ashok Teja, a debutant, is the director.
Odela Railway Station will have its OTT premiere on aha on August 26. The film’s trailer was launched earlier today. The slick trailer starts with a cop, played by Sai Ronak, discussing modus operandi of a serial killer who rapes and murders women on night of their wedding. Kannada actor Vasishta Simha and Hebah Patel play a newly married rural couple.
The situation is so bad in the village Odela that a cop requests families to postpone the weddings for the time-being. The police officer underlines ‘the criminal is a psychopath and his planning is quite unpredictable.’ The story takes a mysterious turn with the entry of a photographer while the cop is anxious about the situation within the village. What’s in store for the residents of Odela?
Popular filmmaker behind hits like Raccha, Bengal Tiger and Seetimaarr, Sampath Nandi, has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the thriller that was shot in the interiors of Telangana in 2020. Odela is also the home-town of the filmmaker. Anup Rubens has composed the music for the film while S Soundar Rajan is the cinematographer. Lakshmi Radhamohan is the presenter.

The supporting cast comprises Naga Mahesh (Rangasthalam fame), Bhupal, Sri Gagan, Divya Cyrus, Surender Reddy and Priya Hegde. Vasishta Simha, who’s a part of this film, was part of several Kannada hits like KGF, Tagaru, Mufti, Godhibanna Sadarana Mykattu, Dayavittu Gamanisi, Kavacha, Yuvarathna, to name a few.
