Chhorii starring Nushrratt Bharuccha completed 3 years of release today, November 27. Directed by Vishal Furia, the film is about a pregnant couple who are forced to take shelter in a sugarcane farmhouse that has a horrific past. As the film turned 3, Nushrratt shared a special post while announcing that Chhorii 2. She also shared some glimpses of the new part.

Nushrratt Bharuccha took to her Instagram account and dropped a special post as her film Chhorii turned 3. On this special occasion, the actress announced Chhorii 2 and revealed some intriguing posters of the new part.

She captioned it, "Celebrating 3 Years of Chhori with a lil sneak peak from Chhori 2 馃懀#Chhori2 Coming soon"

Reacting to the post, one fan wrote, "Can鈥檛 waitttt." Another commented, "Mast movie." A third fan shared, "Awesome work." 

The OTTplay review of Chhorii says that while the message it tries to convey is important, and kudos to Furia for bringing it to light in a mainstream horror film, its execution could have been much better and crisper. 

However, it also added, "The entire build-up, with some well-executed jump scares, an impressive background score and camerawork, commendable performances by the women-in-lead, Chhorii gets lost in translation in its final moments."

Chhorii plot

Nushrratt Bharuccha, Mita Vashisht, Saurabh Goyal, and Rajesh Jais starrer Chhorii is set in an unnamed town where eight-month-pregnant Sakshi (Bharuccha) runs an NGO for children. She seems to have a soft corner for girls in particular and children in general. When her husband, Hemant (Goyal), beats her up in the middle of the night for failing to pay her debts, they decide to go into hiding.

On reaching the village they find themselves nowhere, surrounded by miles of sugarcane fields. Little does Sakshi (Nushrratt) know that the place they have chosen to take shelter to protect her unborn child has a gruesome and sinister past that will soon catch up with her.
