Nursing community in Andhra upset over Balakrishna's remarks, demand an apology

Nandamuri Balakrishna is in the form of his life with back to back hits in Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy. Both these films crossed the 100 crore mark at the box office. A few days back, during the pre release event of Veera Simha Reddy, Balayya took a dig at legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao with his Akkineni-Akkineni comment which did not go well with the star's family as both sons of Nagarjuna, Akhil and Chay raised objections.

Now, Balakrishna has done it again as his statements have angered the entire nursing community in the Telugu states. Going into details, Balayya during his OTT show Unstoppable revealed about an accident which he faced while back. In a fun tone, Balayya says "I was asked to tell doctors that it was not an accident. But after watching the beautiful nurse there, I had to say that I met with an accident'.

This has angered a few in the nursing community and especially the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Welfare Association’s President Swachanda Prasad. He condemned Balakrishna’s words and has now demanded an apology from the star hero. This is not the first time that Balayya has lost his control. But being a big star no one dares to encounter him face to face.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna is in the news as the new episode of his show Unstoppable with NBK with powerstar Pawan Kalyan has gone viral in no time and has clocked record viewing minutes on AHA. Fans are super thrilled to see Pawan and Balayya on one stage. But his comments on nurses have not gone well with many.
