The makers of upcoming Malayalam film, Nunakuzhi, have released its teaser today (July 19). The video, which includes a glimpse of each of the main characters in the film, suggests a hilarious series of events because of lies that Grace Antony's and Basil Joseph's characters have been weaving. Director Jeethu Joseph and actor-filmmaker Basil Joseph collaborated on screen for the first time with the eagerly anticipated upcoming Malayalam movie.
The 50 seconds video began with Althaf Salim’s character reading out, “She ruthlessly trampled my love and affection. And my revenge towards her begins right here!”. After that, Basil is immediately presented to be a con artist who can easily trick people. Even so, as he lies in a hospital, he claims to be a wealthy man who deserves some respect from the police. At the conclusion of the teaser, Grace is seen shoving someone into the trunk of a car. Overall, it definitely suggests dark humour comedy that originates from confusion and misunderstandings.
Mohanlal recently revealed the poster on his official Instagram account. Basil Joseph and Grace Antony, the lead duo, were pictured in the first poster's promising image sitting in the back row of a police car. The main actors can be seen displaying humorous yet anxious facial expressions, giving the impression that the audience is in for a very exciting ride in theatres.
Nunakuzhi is a dark comedy, director Jeethu Joseph disclosed during one of his media appearances. The hitmaker, who is experimenting with a new genre, also stated that the Basil Joseph movie would be a highlight of his career. K R Krishnakumar, who previously collaborated with Jeethu Joseph on his films, 12th Man and Kooman, has penned screenplay for Nunakuzhi. In supporting roles are Siddique, Manoj K Jayan, Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, Baiju Santhosh, and others. The music is composed by Vishnu Shyam and Jay Unnithan. Production companies Bedtime Stories and Yoodle Films are behind this Jeethu Joseph project.
