PremiumNtikkakkakkoru Premandarnn on OTT: Bhavana’s comeback Malayalam film to stream on Manorama Max on this date

Actress Bhavana’s comeback Malayalam film after a gap of over five years, Ntikkakkakkoru Premandarnn, is gearing up for its OTT release. The feel-good movie, directed by debutant Adhil Maimoonath Asharaf, had released in theatres in February this year.
We had earlier reported that the film’s OTT rights were bagged by Manorama Max, which is now gearing up to stream the film on its platform. Ntikkakkakkoru Premandarnn will also be available to stream through OTTplay Premium.
Apart from Bhavana, the film also has Sharafudheen, Anarkali Nazar, Shebin Benson, Ashokan, Divya M Nair, Sadiq and Saniya Rafi as part of its cast. The film is scripted by three debutants – Adhil, Vivek Bharathan and Sabaridas Thottingal, who had waited for almost three months for Bhavana to get back to them after their initial pitch.
In an interview before the film’s release, the actress said that she had been getting offers from Malayalam but wasn’t sure if she was ready to do a film yet. But the writers of Ntikkakkakkoru Premandarnn had approached her with the script and she decided to do it as she believed it was the “right time” to do a movie and that too “with the right people”. Earlier several leading filmmakers including Shaji Kailas, Aashiq Abu and Prithviraj Sukumaran had reached out to the actress with scripts, but Bhavana declined.

Ntikkakkakkoru Premandarnn, meanwhile, has Sharafudheen essaying the role of a Gulf-returee, for the second time in the past year. His character Jimmy dreams of starting a dealership for vintage cars and also faces pressure from his family to get married. He finds a match in Fida, but before their wedding, he also runs into his first love Nithya. This gets Jimmy to re-evaluate his relationship with Fida.
Bhavana plays the role of Nithya, while Anarkali, who was seen in the Kunchacko Boban-starrer Mohankumar Fans, essays the character of Fida. Ntikkakkakkoru Premandarnn is set to begin streaming on Manorama Max on July 14.
