Not Tiger franchise, THIS Salman Khan film is Ranbir Kapoor’s favourite

Ranbir Kapoor has revealed his favourite Salman Khan film. Surprisingly, it is not from the Tiger franchise – Ek Tha Tiger or Tiger Zinda Hai. While the world is waiting for Tiger 3, Ranbir remembered one performance of Salman that has left an impact on him.

So, which is that film?

Ranbir was actually talking about Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He voluntarily spoke about his favourite film after talking about his favourite movies featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.

The 2015 film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, featured Salman in the role of Bajrangi and introduced Harshaali Malhotra as Munni. The film starred Kareena Kapoor Khan in the role of Bajrangi’s lover, Rashika and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the Pakistani reporter, Chand Nawab.

Tiger 3

Salman will be seen in Tiger 3 next. The movie stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead and introduces Emraan Hashmi to the franchise as the antagonist. The YRF film is helmed by Maneesh Sharma and will release on Diwali this year. The latest from the YRF Spy Universe (after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan’s War) is scheduled for November 12 release.

The Tiger franchise

Tiger is the most successful franchise in the YRF Spy Universe. Ek Tha Tiger brought Salman and Katrina together as spy lovers, Tiger and Zoya. The movie was directed by Kabir Khan and released in 2012. The sequel of the film, Tiger Zinda Hai, saw Tiger and Zoya living a married life but in hiding. The movie was helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and released in 2017.
