Not Shehnaaz Gill or Sargun Mehta, THIS Punjabi actress is the most loved in 2022

Shehnaaz Gill and Sargun Mehta are among the top actresses in the Punjabi film industry. However, in 2022, somebody beat these two to be the most loved. That actress is Sonam Bajwa.

2022 commenced for Sonam with the film, Main Vyah Nahi Karona Tere Naal. The movie, co-starring Gurnam Bhullar, received a lot of love. Sonam ended the year with the second season of her talk show, Dil Diyan Gallan with Sonam Bajwa season 2.

Surprisingly, neither Sargun nor Shehnaaz was even on the second spot or competing with one another for it. Neeru Bajwa is the second most loved Punjabi actress. This year, she gave films like Kokka, Beautiful Billo, Laung Laachi 2, Maa Da Ladla and Criminal.

Ormax Media has unveiled its list of top Punjabi actresses for the months of October-December 2022 and Sargun made it to top three on the list. She started the year with Saunkan Saunkne, followed by Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya, Moh and Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne. The actress was also seen in Akshay Kumar’s Cuttputlli.

Qismat 2 actress Tania is fourth on the list. She was seen in Lekh, Bajre Da Sitta and Oye Makhna in 2022. The actress is currently gearing up for Sufna 2.

Shehnaaz Gill might be making her grand Bollywood debut soon but she is still not the top Punjabi actress. She will soon be seen in Salman Khan’s Kisika Bhai Kisiki Jaan. The actress was last seen in Diljit Dosanjh’s Honsla Rakh, which released in 2021. Now, Shehnaaz’s name is also associated with Salman’s Kick 2. Official confirmations on the same are yet to be made. Will the movies prove to be a gamechanger for the Bigg Boss 13 contestant? That remains to be seen.
