Nodidavaru Enantare, the newest film led by Gultoo-fame Naveen Shankar, which released in theatres on January 31, 2025 is headed to OTT this week. While there was no indication of any Kannada original films being available to stream at the start of the week, a day ago, there were reports that Nodidavaru Enantare would make it to OTT shortly. Sources suggested that the team had already uploaded the content on to the platform and was awaiting a green signal as to the streaming date.
The film, according to the reports, was headed to Amazon Prime Video, with March 20, suggested as the likely date. While the confirmation about the platform came on March 19, the date varied by a day. March 21, 2025 is when Nodidavaru Enantare will begin streaming on Prime Video. This week, the film faces tough competition in the OTT space, what with Kunchacko Boban’s Malayalam thriller Officer on Duty and Pradeep Ranganathan’s Tamil hit coming-of-age comedy drama Dragon also releasing on March 20 and 21, respectively.

CAST | Naveen Shankar, Apoorva Bharadwaj |
STREAMING PLATFORM | Amazon Prime Video |

Director Kuldeep Cariappa’s film, meanwhile, is a slow-burner, focusing on the emotional turmoils faced by leading man Naveen as Siddharth, a web designer whose abandonment issues and more recent love failure, also take a toll on his career. In search of an anchor for his life, Siddharth sets out on a journey to find answers to existential questions that have haunted him over the years.
Nodidavaru Enantare’s Siddharth and Hondisi Bareyiri’s Ranjith, may, at first, seem alike, a thought that even Naveen admits crossed his mind initially. But the journeys of both characters are vastly different. Naveen is paired with Apoorva Bharadwaj in the film, while Kuldeep also managed to bring Padmavati Rao back to Kannada cinema after a long gap.
Naveen is yet to announce his next in Kannada cinema, but the actor will return to reprise his role in Salaar: Shouryanga Parva, which is expected to get rolling as soon as director Prashant Neel completes his film with NTR Jr.
