No change in production house for Pawan Kalyan’s OG, makers issue statement - ‘We have full clarity on how the film will..’

Pawan Kalyan, who’s striking a balance between his career in films and politics, has 3 projects lining up for release in 2024 - Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, OG. While OG is nearing completion, a huge chunk of shoot is pending for both Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Meanwhile, the star is quite busy ahead of the AP legislative assembly elections later this year.

With the postponement of the film shoots owing to his political schedule, several rumours were doing the rounds that there was change in guard for team OG and People Media Factory was to take over the project from DVV Entertainment. However, DVV Entertainment, which also produced RRR in 2022, denied all such allegations over a social media post today.

“#OG is ours… #OG will be forever ours…We have full clarity on how Pawan Kalyan garu’s film will unfold. We are progressing towards it. Always thankful to him. The hunger will be for a longer time, but the Cheetah hunt will leave nothing behind. #TheyCallHimOG,” DVV Entertainment confirmed that they’re much in control of the film, thanking Pawan Kalyan for his trust.

OG is more or less nearing completion and in a recent interview, Sriya Reddy confirmed that a grand action sequence will be filmed shortly. Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead in the film that also marks the Telugu debut of Emraan Hashmi, who last acted in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. Arjun Das, Venkat essay other pivotal roles.

DVV Entertainment is also joining hands with Prashanth Varma for a film Adhira, that’ll mark the acting debut of producer DVV Danayya’s son Kalyan Dasari. A glimpse of the film was shared during RRR’s release as well. S Thaman scores the music for OG, which has cinematography by Ravi K Chandran. AS Prakash is the art director.
