Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly’s Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai is all set to premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam today (January 30). The Premam actor is working in a Tamil movie after a six-year gap following Neram and Richie. The film is directed by National Film Awardee Ram. This is Ram’s fifth directorial after Peranbu, Taramani, Thanga Meengal, and Kattradhu Thamizh.

The teaser reveals an image of eternal love, beginning with Nivin's enigmatic persona providing an easy definition of love- People may have a thousand reasons to part ways, but there can only be one reason to walk hand in hand, which is love.

Rams appears to have pushed the boundaries of his storytelling with Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, which has a mysterious setting and surrealistic, dreamlike imagery.

Nivin is shown as an eternal being in the teaser. His character claims to be over 8,000 years old and has been loving a woman over and over. Claiming that she was a queen when they first met, he claims to have fallen in love with her at first sight. This suggests that although she has lived different lives over the years, his undying love for her has not changed.
