Despite Nivin Pauly's Ramachandra Boss & Co being one of 2023's Onam releases, it hasn't witnessed big promotions. One reason why this is the case was revealed during the trailer launch event of the film, when producer Listin Stephen, revealing that the film was not scheduled as an Onam release, said that promotions don't make a difference to such a film.
'Promotions don't play a big role during festivals'
"I don't think promotions matter much for this film. Our main aim was to release the film during Onam, since people end up watching most films in theatres during festivals. Even films that aren't perhaps the best can make a profit during festival season. The post-production work for Ramachandra Boss & Co is yet to be completed. The final mixing for the film is happening as we speak; all other work is being done in an emergency manner," Listin said during the trailer launch event that was held on August 21.

When asked about the movie at the same event, leading man Nivin Pauly said that Ramachandra Boss & Co is a complete entertainment package with action and humour. The actor also said that the movie is a different attempt from Haneef Adeni who is known for action-oriented films.
Speaking about his process of selecting films, Nivin added, "I acknowledge that failure is inevitable, so my selection of films is based on my convictions. Some highly anticipated films have flopped, while some with low expectations have succeeded, so the best thing to do is to make decisions fearlessly."

Ramchandra Boss & Co is a heist comedy starring Nivin Pauly, Jaffer Idukki, Vinay Forrt, Mamitha Baiju, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Vijilesh and Nassar. The film marks the reunion of Nivin and Haneef Adeni after the action movie Mikhael. Ramachandra Boss & Co bankrolled by Nivin Pauly and Listin Stephen, and will hit theatres on August 25.
