The Telugu girl, who’s a known name in Tamil cinema, makes her digital debut with aha’s horror-thriller

Nivedhithaa Sathish, a Telugu girl by birth, settled in Chennai, has made a name herself in Tamil cinema with spectacular performances in Sethum Aayiram Pon, Sillu Karupatti, Magalir Mattum and Udanpirappe. However, her next, Anya’s Tutorial, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual horror show for aha, produced by Arka Media and directed by Pallavi Gangireddy, will be extra special for her.
She also gets to reconnect with her Telugu roots and please her Tamil fans at the same with Anya’s Tutorial. At the show’s trailer launch held in Hyderabad recently, Nivedhithaa told that she had no chance to say ‘no’ to the offer when Anya’s Tutorial came her way. “Being a performer is one thing and getting an opportunity to perform is another one,” she said.
“When the script came my way, I saw it as a complete package. The project was such a big learning curve. I couldn’t have asked for more, to be launched by Arka Media. I thank Shobu Yarlagadda, the entire cast and crew for believing in me throughout. Anya’s Tutorial will always be very special for me. I am grateful to the writer Sowmya Sharma and my director Pallavi,” Nivedhithaa added.
Nivedhithaa is cast as Anya in the show, a social media influencer while Regina Cassandra plays her on-screen sister. The promising actress claimed she had a liking to horror stories and shared that she was impressed by The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix recently. She cheekily didn’t mention the platform name on the stage.
