After a summer release Anni Manchi Sakunamule, they’re back in action with another digital project titled Kumari Srimathi. The project is executed under their web division named Early Monsoon Tales. The show’s motion poster was unveiled today.
Kumari Srimathi marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Gomtesh Upadhye, who’d worked for the Kannada film Katha Sangama earlier. The show is created and jointly written by actor Srinivas Avasarala in collaboration with Uday, Kaushik and Jayanth. Popular band Staccato and Kamran are composing the music for the feel-good tale for which Mohana Krishna is the cinematographer.
Srujana Adusumilli is the editor for the web series while Latha Naidu, associated with films like Ante Sundaraniki, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi earlier, is the production designer. Kumari Srimathi will be released in four languages - Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Chandu Nimmagadda is the executive producer. Thiruveer, Praneeta Patnaik and Naresh also essay key roles.
The promo has a voiceover, where a woman says, “She claims she’s only next to Rajinikanth and Abdul Kalam. She apparently won’t work, wants to be a businesswoman and take care of all family responsibilities. She doesn’t want to marry as well - I’m taking about Kumari Srimathi.” The release date of the show will be announced by the streamer and the banner shortly.
