Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana part 1 has wrapped up. A photo shared by a crew member confirmed the same. The picture is a selfie with Ranbir Kapoor from the last day on the sets. The movie, also starring Sai Pallavi (as Goddess Sita), Sunny Deol (as Lord Hanuman) and Yash (as Ravana) among others, is now likely in the post-production stage. Here’s the confirmation…

Ramayana part 1 wraps up

A crew member from Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana part 1 shared a selfie with a clean-shaven Ranbir Kapoor. The caption to the post was, "Ramayan 1st Part End."

Ranbir Kapoor's look change

Although Ranbir has to grow out his hair to play Lord Ram, he was seen in a clean-shaven look with shorter hair. This is a hint that either Ranbir shot for the younger versions or is prepping to move on to his next film, which requires him in a younger look.

More actors in Ramayana

Lara Dutta plays the role of Kaikeyi, Sheeba Chaddha is seen as Manthara, and Ravi Dubey plays Lord Ram’s brother, Laxman. Kunal Kapoor will be seen as Indra Dev, while Arun Govil plays Dashrath and Indira Krishnan portrays Kausalaya in the film.

Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming projects

Ranbir has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. However, it is unlikely that the film goes on floors already since Alia is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film, Jigra, while also prepping for Alpha with Sharvari (although the YRF Spy Universe film will release much later). Vicky Kaushal too is busy promoting his movie Chhavaa. Thus, Love & War will take at least some time to go on floors.

Ranbir also has his next in Animal Park. He plays two roles in the film - one a younger version, and the other a matured one. The film is likely to go on floors soon, since it is already in production.
