Actor Rahman has taken to Instagram to share a video from the sets of director Karthick Naren’s upcoming hyperlink thriller titled Nirangal Moondru.
The video shows the crew getting ready to film inside a car, while the actor gets ready for the shot in the front seat. It also gives a glimpse into the film’s making, which is expected to be a thriller that explores the three shades in every individual - black, white and gray.
The actor also wrote that it is a pleasure to work with the same cast and crew after five years. Rahman played the lead in Naren’s debut film, Dhuruvangal 16, a neo-noir thriller that became a hit with the fans and critics.
Nirangal Moondru went on floors in January and stars Atharvaa Murali in the lead role and also features Sarathkumar, Dushyanth Jayaprakash, Chinni Jayanth and John Vijay in important roles.
“Once I completed the script, these three actors were the first names that popped up in my mind for the three characters. I felt they would be able to carry these roles and do justice to it,” the young director told Times of India earlier this year.
The movie has music by Jakes Bejoy, while Tijo Tomy and Sreejith Sarang handle the camera and editing respectively. K. Karunamoorthy of Ayngaran International is producing the thriller.
Rahman was seen in Seetimaarr while the last Tamil film he appeared in was Seven. The actor has a long list of movies in his kitty including Jana Gana Mana, Thupparivaalan 2 and Ponniyin Selvan.
