Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam - Dhanush unveils romantic poster of Anikha Surendran and Pavish on V-Day

Dhanush’s third directorial project, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, has been one of the most-awaited romantic dramas. To everyone's surprise, Dhanush took to his social media handles to unveil a brand-new poster of actors Anikha Surendran and Pavish from the film. Unveiling the romantic poster on Valentine’s Day, the actor -director wrote, ‘#Neek #dd3 Team Neek wishes you all a happy valantines day (sic)'.

The new poster showcases actors Anikha Surendran and Pavish, sitting at a picturesque beach as a full moon shines over them. The beautiful poster exudes calmness and hints at a cute love story, brewing between their characters. The new poster was a perfect treat from Dhanush on V-Day!

Starring Mathew Thomas, Priya Prakash Varrier, Anikha Surendran, Rabiya Khatoon and Pavish, the movie is touted to be a love story and is currently in its post-production stage. The movie’s first-look poster and title were earlier revealed by Dhanush, who has also written the story. 

 The first-look poster featured the members of the film’s cast, sporting bright and flashy outfits. The first look promises a fun coming-of-age romantic drama. The movie is bankrolled under Dhanush’s home banner, Wunderbar Films.

Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam was supposed to be directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth?

Interestingly, producer-director Soundarya Rajinikanth had earlier revealed that she was working on a script, called Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. The interview clip, which surfaced on the internet after the film’s poster was released on social media, revealed that the project couldn’t take off then due to casting issues. “I was initially working on a script, called Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, and I had also put out a cast call for the film. It’s a very nice script and is written by Dhanush too. But for some reason, I could not find the cast for the film”, the Kochadaiiyaan director said.

Dhanush’s directorial endeavours

Apart from Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, Dhanush will also be directing D50 which is touted to be a gangster drama. Dhanush, Vishnu Vishal and S J Suryah are set to play brothers in this film, which is Dhanush’s second directorial project after Pa Paandi (2017).
