Nikhoj actress Swastika Mukherjee paints Mumbai green

Swastika Mukherjee takes the world in her stride. Undoubtedly, she spares no thought for her online trolls. Not many days ago, Swastika opened up about alleged sexual harassment by a producer. The actress has been shuttling Kolkata Mumbai for her work in films and web series. 

On Wednesday, Swastika took to her social media to post a series of photos flaunting a brave shade of green lip colour. The photos show that the actress is taking a rickshaw ride in Mumbai in a green shirt with green lips with copper danglers. She exuberates happiness and positivity in the photos. She takes absolutely no effort to hide the strands of greys. 

Swastika’s brave choice of lip colour, however, attracted various trolls. Some call it ‘green chili lips’. Another commented, “It's scary to look at you, even though you are my favorite. Always.” To this, Swastika replied, “Sometimes, finding fear in between is good.”

On the professional front, Swastika has recently released the trailer of her new web series, Nikhoj, where she teams up with Tota Roy Chowdhury, Paran Bandopadhyay, and Koneenica Banerjee. The series revolves around a journalist, named Romit Sen, played by Tota, who gets involved in an incident related to a girl named Diti. Swastika is Diti’s mother and a senior police officer. The story unveils the mysteries behind her disappearance. The web series will be released on August 11 on Hoichoi.
