Committee Kurrollu is the latest Telugu film to hit the screens on August 9, 2024. The village drama was produced by mega daughter Niharika Konidela and has ended as a box-office success. The day one collections have been impressive, as the film made Rs 1.7 crores worldwide. This is something quite special as the film had all newcomers in lead roles.

The day two collections are also going to be huge, and the news is that Committee Kurrollu will break even by the end of this weekend(August 11, 2024). On the other hand, Niharika Konidela says that the demand for OTT rights has doubled ever since the film was released.
Speaking in an interview, she says that not many were interested in buying the film. However, ever since the hit talk came out, there has been a lot of demand for OTT rights, and several platforms have approached her with big money. The OTT platform for Committe Kurrollu has yet to be locked.
Committe Kurrollu makes impressive box office numbers
Committe Kurrollu has been in the making for almost two years now. Despite the drawbacks in the second half, the film is being watched by many as it has many nostalgic moments. Megastar Chiranjeevi has also spoken highly about the film after watching a special screening. Niharika says that she is planning a massive celebration in the days to come once the film makes the target amount the team has fixed.
Written and directed by Yadhu Vamsi, Committe Kurrollu is about a group of eleven friends who get separated due to very small issues. More than the conflict, the manner in which the nostalgic moments from the 90s have been showcased has won the hearts of many.
