Television actress Nia Sharma was announced as the first confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss 18. Rohit Shetty made this revelation during Khatron Ke Khiladi 14's finale episode. In KKK14's grand finale, Nia had even requested Bigg Boss 17 contestant Abhishek Kumar to support her. Days after being confirmed for the Salman Khan-hosted show, Nia has backed out of Bigg Boss 18. The actress issued an apology to her fans and well-wishers on social media.

"To the fans and well-wishers I have disappointed, Sorry. Truly been overwhelmed for the tremendous support, lovee and crazy hype! Almost made me realise what I have earned in the last 14 years. Can’t say I didn’t enjoy the hype and attention. But please don’t blame me. It wasn’t me (sic)," wrote Nia.
Nia Sharma refuses to answer related to Bigg Boss 18
A few days ago, Nia reacted to her participation in Bigg Boss 18. After getting calls and text messages, the actress stated she wasn't up to answering anything related to the reality show. "Hi there! Please don’t call or text me to ask anything about the Bigg Boss thing. Mujhe maaf kardo. Mein nahi reply karugi. (Please forgive me. I won’t reply) Not up for giving quotes or any interviews. Have an awesome day (sic)," her note read.
