It’s hard to keep aha away from the limelight these days. The streaming platform’s talk show Unstoppable with NBK is breaking newer records with every episode while it also gears up for the premiere of an entrepreneurial show Nenu Super Woman besides the second season of the much-awaited singing reality show Telugu Indian Idol. And that’s not all, the OTT platform shared another interesting update today.
A few weeks ago, it was announced that People Media Factory would be joining hands with aha again for Newsense, a web show after Bloody Mary and Kudi Yedamaithe. The show, helmed by Sri Prawin, brings together the Mastis lead pair Navdeep and Bindu Madhavi again. Prawin is best known for films like Kalicharan and Gaayam 2.
Today, aha has confirmed that the team has completed the shoot of the first season of Newsense. “It's a wrap to the first season of #NewsenseOnAHA. We bet you dont want to miss this one…Coming Soon,” the streamer shared today. Navdeep, Sri Prawin and the producers TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibhotla were seen cutting a cake with the team while calling it a wrap.
Filmmaker and daughter of comedian MS Narayana, Sasikiran Narayana, is part of the direction team for the project as well. Navdeep, as fit as ever, sports a moustache for his look in the show. Suresh Bobbili, who scored the music for Virata Parvam recently, is the composer. Newsense is expected to land on aha in a few weeks from now.
People Media Factory is bankrolling projects with several leading names in the industry including Pawan Kalyan for the Vinodaya Sitham remake, Ramabanam with Gopichand, Goodachari 2 with Adivi Sesh, Naga Shaurya and Malvika Nair’s Phalana Ammayi Phalana Abbayi. They scored two major hits in 2022, Karthikeya 2 and Dhamaka as well, streaming on ZEE5 and Netflix respectively.
