Apart from Vijay Sethupathi and Soori who plays the rookie cop, the film also stars Manju Warrier. The compelling film is a must-watch for Vijay Sethupathi’s power-packed performance.

Aashiq Abu brought together a host of talents from across industries in his action thriller Rifle Club. Even rapper Hanumankind made his acting debut with Rifle Club which follows a group of hunting club members as they confront an arms dealer.

Noted actor Joju George marked his directorial debut with this revenge thriller, titled Pani. Joju George also stars in the film which follows two youngsters as they enter the criminal world but their very first task has them cross paths with that of Giri. Violence is very much part of this action-packed movie which was released in 2024, a year that saw the likes of brutal Marco making its bloody mark on the silver screen.
I Am Kathalan

Girish AD, who has mastered the art of narrating the tale of today’s youngsters with movies such as Super Sharanya and Premalu, brings a techno-thriller with I Am Kathalan. Girish AD has teamed up with his Premalu star Naslen K Gafoor to tell the story of Vishnu, who takes the hacking route to exact revenge on his girlfriend’s father and his company. Though not in the same league as Premalu, this movie too offers a fairly engaging ride as the youngster, who is yet to clear his backlogs of his BTech course, gives a hard time to the computer and hacking experts.
Pothugadda

Though earlier slated to release on November 14, 2024, Pothugadda got postponed and will now be released on ETV Win during the Sankranthi week. The Telugu film, which has young actors Shatru and Prasanth Kishore in the lead, has skipped the theatrical release and will now directly make its premiere on the OTT space.
