The Christmas season unleashes the holiday spirit, making us feel joyous as we celebrate the moments with family and friends. What’s better than having a family gathering and wearing red, woolen socks and sweaters with some drinks in hand to cheer and stream the Christmas movies/series on the TV screens!

Here are a few upcoming movies/series on Netflix that will make your holidays merry and end your festive season on a high note.

Yoh Christmas (December 15)

This South African, romantic-comedy television series brings the old trope of a 30-something, strongly-independent woman, who is unlucky in love. However, the catch here is the festive theme of Christmas. Created by Johnny Barbuzano and Tiffany Barbuzano – Yoh Christmas narrates the tale of a successful, thirty-year-old Thando, who is desperately seeking love after lying to the family that she is in a relationship. The series stars, Katlego Lebogang, Siya Sepotokele, and Didi Makhubane with other supporting cast.

Christmas As Usual (December 6)

Writer/director Petter Holmsen brings a fresh take to the rom-com movies as the story weaves around an interracial, engaged couple and how the cultural clash between the family melts with the Christmas spirit. Set in frozen Norway, the trailer gives a glimpse of the main characters played by Ida Ursin-Holm, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, and Kanan Gill in this Norway-Indian tradition clash.

The ensemble cast includes Brady Noon, Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms, Emma Myers, and Rita Moreno.

Family Switch (November 30)

Directed by McG, Family Switch as the name suggests revolves around a family, the Walkers, whose life turns chaotic as the parents swap bodies with their teenage children. The magical-cosmic event before Christmas forced this family to adjust to the new norm. Family Switch is a perfect family-drama Christmas movie that can be binge-watched with the entire family in the drawing room and we bet you will roll out laughing!

Best. Christmas. Ever! (November 16)

The new addition to the Christmas movies that recently rolled out on the streaming giant is Best. Christmas. Ever!

Directed by Mary Lambert, Best. Christmas. Ever! reunites two old frenemies stuck in a crisis together. This romantic-comedy film features Brandy Norwood and Heather Graham as two college friends called Charlotte Sanders and Jackie Jennings. While Jason Biggs portrays Rob Sanders (Charlotte’s husband) and Matt Cedeño plays Valentino (Jackie’s husband).
