As fans count down to the announcement of the title of Rocking Star Yash’s next, which will be out on December 8 at 9.55 am, KVN Productions, the banner that is backing the film took to social media with a quiz for them. The official social media handle of the banner posed the question asking if the title of #Yash19 has 1,2,3 or 4 words in it. So far, the quiz has got quite a few responses and, by the looks of it, most are leaning towards it being a single word. At last count 44% of the votes were for a one-word title, with the other options far behind, but equally distributed.
In fact, several netizens who voted for three words cited the fact that Yash’s official announcement - It’s time… 8th December 9.55 am – featured three dots. ‘A’ and ‘S’ are also being speculated as the letters that the title will begin with, while some chimed in and said that the title will be BOSS, what with the Rocking Star’s affinity to it. All of Yash’s cars are registered with the serial number 8055, which, when written stylishly, reads BOSS.
Meanwhile, fans are also hoping that the suspense about who is helming this project will finally come to an end along with the title reveal. As of now, netizens are convinced that Yash is working with Malayalam filmmaker Geethu Mohandas, while Charan Raj has apparently been signed up for the music. While Samyukta Menon’s name was heard as the leading lady for a while Mrunal Thakur and even Srinidhi Shetty also came up as hopefuls. The latest is that Yash could be bringing Sai Pallavi officially to Kannada cinema with this film. All of this, of course, is still only speculation.
Yash’s official announcement that his next is, indeed, with KVN Productions shut down rumours that #Yash19 would be KGF: Chapter 3. Last year, after the success of KGF: Chapter 2, Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films had said that the third film in the franchise would go on floors as early as October 2022. But then Yash went on record saying that he will revisit his Rocky Bhai character only after having dabbled with something else. The actor, though, retained his bearded, long-haired look throughout, which gave audiences hope of another KGF film.
