A piece of good news has been delivered straight to our screens on Wednesday morning by Netflix. The official trailer of Kissing Booth 3 has just dropped off, and it is all things we like.
The trailer begins on a cheerful note, with Lee, Elle and Noah celebrating their last summer at the beach house. Lee and Elle also resolve to complete their brand-new summer bucket list, and experience all those things that they might have never done before.
At the same time, Elle must spend time with Noah as well, leaving her feeling exhausted and tired of trying to balance between her best friend and boyfriend. But her troubles are far from over, as soon she faces a new dilemma of choosing whether to go Berkeley or Harvard, which are Lee’s and Noah’s colleges respectively, leaving her at a crossroad.
As she tries to fulfill their expectations, she slowly loses herself in the midst. “Maybe your choices have more to do with what other people want. Maybe it's time to think about what you want” – this line said by Noah’s mother strikes direct to the heart, conveying the chaos brewing within Elle and the need to figure out what she wants for herself.
Returning to their recurring roles are Joey King as Elle, Joel Courtney as Lee and Jacob Elordi as Noah, picking up the story from where they left in Kissing Booth 2. There is also a surprise hidden in the trailer as we get a glimpse of Taylor Perez as Marco and Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Chloe, which might complicate things further. Directed by Vince Marcello, Kissing Booth 3 will stream on Netflix from August 11.
Kissing Booth 3 marks the third and final instalment of the trilogy. However, no need to be disappointed as they won’t go without a bang, and the movie is a goodbye gift that will make you laugh, cry and love yourself above all
