Netflix surprised and delighted Grace and Frankie fans on Friday, releasing four new episodes of its new season all at once on its platform. The streaming giant announced the news of the release with a video featuring the show’s stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.
In the video, the two seasoned Hollywood actors give the news in their familiar and cheerful way, portraying the same chemistry and dynamic between them reminding us what made the duo a fan favourite among viewers. “We’ve missed you,” Tomlin is seen saying, following it with “but more importantly, you’ve missed us.” And fans could not agree more who had started to feel the long wait of 19 months, since the last season aired, taking a toll on them. The playful bickering of the two in the video added hues of charm that made the announcement all the more appealing.

Twitter ran rife with tweets by fans expressing how much they missed the bubbly duo, some fun-filled in expressing their admiration of the show and some lamenting on how it will be its last season.
