German F1 legend Michael Schumacher's documentary will stream on Netflix in September this year. The former racing driver has been away from the limelight after suffering from head injuries from a skiing accident that took place in 2013. According to a report by the streaming platform, the documentary titled Schumacher will feature interviews with his wife and children including his son and F1 racer son Mick. Moreover, even the past and the present drivers from formula racing cars are also a part of the documentary.
As per Formula One website, Michael's press manager Sabine Kehm said in a statement, "This film tells of both worlds. It is his family's gift to their beloved husband and father."
While praising the legend, Kehm stated that Michael Schumacher redefined the professional image of a racing driver and set new standards. On acing perfection, the former racing driver spared neither himself nor his team. He has been driving them to the greatest successes and is admired all over the world for his leadership qualities.
About Schumacher's family life, Sabine shared that the former racer found the strength for his task and balance to recharge at home and with his family whom he loves idolatrously. She also revealed that to preserve his private sphere as a source of strength, Michael always consistently separated his private from his public life.
Schumacher took retirement from racing in 2012 and holds a record of seven F1 titles which is equalled by Briton Lewis. He rose to fame in the 80s and made his debut at Formula One in the year 1991. Since then, there was no turning back for Michael. He became secondary to the name Formula One for many years and fans still remember the great races he has been a part of.
The documentary titled Schumacher is set to stream on Netflix from September 15, 2021.
