Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) co-presented an unprecedented boxing mega-event featuring Jake "El Gallo de Dorado" Paul vs. Mike Tyson—the Baddest Man on the Planet. On Friday, November 15, the historic bout card attracted 72,300 spectators to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and Netflix streamed the entire event live. At its peak, 65 million people were viewing the feed domestically, with 38 million people in the US alone.
Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson: Brutal heavyweight showdown
Main event heavyweights Jake Paul and Mike Tyson squared up for eight two-minute rounds of brutal fighting. Paul scored clean shots in multiple rounds, giving him the advantage with the judges, although Tyson showed signs reminiscent of his life as a champion throughout the fight. A unanimous vote ultimately declared Paul the victor.
The rematch between Taylor and Serrano also set new records. With an estimated 74 million live viewers internationally, the co-main event became the most-watched professional women's sports event in US history. Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor redefended the unchallenged super lightweight world championship in a tough ten-round fight. Taylor successfully countered Serrano's increasing barrage of blows. Serrano sustained a gash above her right eye after a head clash in the fourth round. After three judges scored the match 95–94 in favour of Taylor, she successfully defended her title as the world's undisputed super lightweight champion.
