Streaming giant Netflix has launched its first owned and operated retail store called Netflix.shop. The shopping website will have caps, necklaces, charms, hoodies, Yasuke Clock and even a Lupin inspired side table.

As per a report on Variety, the online store will sell exclusive, limited editions of "carefully selected, high-quality apparel and lifestyle products" related to Netflix's shows and brand on a regular basis. The initial releases on the Netflix online store will be exclusive merch based on The Witcher and Stranger Things, two Netflix original series with massive fandoms, as well as new Netflix logo-wear from Japanese fashion house BEAMS - according to Josh Simon, Netflix's VP of consumer products.

Apart from the exclusive merch, other products debuting this month include streetwear and action figures based on the anime series Yasuke and Eden. The Yasuke clothing line came about through a collaboration with the streetwear label Hypland and its founder, Jordan Bentley.

“He’s part of that drop culture, where kids are lining up on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles to buy his products,” said Josh Simon, in a statement regarding the company’s retail business venture.

There will also be French series - Lupin inspired limited-edition apparel and collectors items made in collaboration with Musee du Louvre. The company is also introducing a collection of anime-inspired collectibles from three designers - Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites, and Jordan Bentley.

The e-commerce site was developed by Netflix with Shopify and the shopping site will initially be only available in the US before expanding to other countries in the coming months. The company already has licensing deals for hundreds of products related to its original programming, now sold by Target, Walmart, H&M, Sephora and other retailers.
