Netflix has announced an All The Boys I've Loved Before spinoff series titled XO, Kitty centring on Kitty Song Covey (Anna Catchcart). According to Deadline, this is the first spinoff to originate from a Netflix Original film franchise. 

Here is the logline released by Netflix: "Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she'll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line."

In the film, its Catchcart's character Kitty who discovers that her big sister Lara (Lana Condor) had written love letters to all the boys she had once been enamoured with. It's she who decided to secretly mail them, creating havoc in Lara's quiet, relatively uneventful life. 

XO, Kitty will be a 10-episode series with each episode about 30 minutes. Jenny Han, whose books spawned the To All The Boys trilogy, is the creator and showrunner alongside Sascha Rothchild.

Han has written the pilot with Siobhan Vivian. She is also the executive producer with Rothchild and Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment. 

Besides the To All The Boys trilogy, Catchcart has been a part of Brat TV’s Zoe Valentine, Molly in Disney Channel’s movie Spin, Young Drizella in the TV drama Once Upon a Time, and Anna in the Disney Channel series Fast Layne, according to Netflix. She is also part of the Disney+ animated anthology Star Wars: Visions, in which she voices Lop.
