It seems like Rajkummar Rao is set to be back on Netflix after two hit films in 2020. The official Instagram page of Netflix India shared an intense photo of the actor holding a small robot in his hand and giving a serious look to the camera. The background of the photo features construction-based toys placed on a huge table. While the wall has posters of motorbikes and a zipper jacket.
The photo is shared ahead of a surprise the Netflix is planning to drop. They captioned it as "Any reason is good enough to share an image of @rajkummar_rao but we might also have some news for you coming tomorrow."
It seems like the upcoming title is by Vasan Bala, whose short film Spotlight was released as a part of Ray anthology on the streaming platform. Moreover, apart from Rajkummar, the title will also feature Huma Qureshi, Radhika Apte, Sukant Goel, Sikandar Kher, Bagavathi Perumal, Zayn Khan who recently featured in Feels Like Ishq and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.
Going by the comments, fans are turning impatient to know what this outing is going to be all about. Guess, everyone has to wait for another day to know about it.
Meanwhile, Rajkummar is among the first actors to star in a web series in India. The actor played the titular role in AltBalaji's series Bose: Dead/Alive which streamed in 2017.
His two films namely Ludo and The White Tiger released on Netflix in 2020 while Chhalaang made it to Amazon Prime Video.
Talking about Huma, she is also not new to the OTT space as the actor starred in several titles namely Leila, Army of the Dead and the latest being Maharani.
About Radhika, she is touted as the face of Netflix with Sacred Games, Ghoul and also Lust Stories.
